The larger County gun safety ordinance exception still stands for people authorized by the Multnomah County Sheriff or other gov employees authorized or required to carry firearms, as well as security guards employed at a financial institution insured by the FDIC.

Not being able to use SNAP means that lots of households are having to make difficult choices between paying for food, rent, utilities. Anyone needing utility assistance and support for other basic needs during this challenging time can find help by calling 2-1-1.
