The expert they cite is a real person, but his research makes no claims like these—he talks about bomb threats in Philly.

1. LED Flash for Alerts.
This is the one I’ve been using the longest. It just flashes the LED when you get an alert. Great if you leave your phone on silent all the time, or just place it face-down. And since the LED was originally for a camera flash, it is BRIGHT.
