Lucas Oil stadium in Indiannapolis is downtown. It is connected to the convention center, so lots of big conventions use it for exhibit space. It has also been used for Olympic swimming trials, marching band competitions, concerts, monster truck rallies, etc. It is in use pretty much every weekend.

And who will pay for cleaning and maintenance of this “gift”?

Indiana is trying to cement its red state status. OK by me if they let Marion County secede to Illinois. I'm tired of the rural counties constantly trying to choke the city to death.
