Marsh undead 5. Another fast one! Only 2 normal skels left and 2 boss type. Prized ones are bronze plated. Trying to find more animals to bulk them out a bit. The new one works well as an animal handler. Might give him a leash. As ever, lovely minis from @fenrisgames.com and by @mad-elf.bsky.social

I’ve finally removed the last books from the shelf! March 23 they were full and I’ve been removing books few at a time to make room. Far back are Celt and hoplite types, the very first minis. Very chuffed . Almost everything from @fenrisgames.com and sculpted by @mad-elf.bsky.social
Lower shelf in a bookcase, stuffed with minis from fantasy and Bronze Age. Winged bison with rider stands out amongst them all. The only non mini is an anatomy mug and wolf ornament. Below is painting table, above more books.

Another gribbly @fenrisgames.com undead! I’m ripping through these way faster that usual, I think because there are more washes and stippling than my usual style. 2 more to go and I‘m onto the bosses. I added yellow flowers for a splash of colour.

Did a whole lot of pulpy Weird War 2 in the 2010’s and forgot about them for the next 10 years! Some pulp types and almost a complete British airborne platoon. Painted fast to get onto the table quickly. Some supernatural stuff I can’t find. All are Artizan from @northstarfigs.bsky.social

I went even more nuts with the bases! They’re deeper recessed for water effects, also added hanging moss and lots of green muck so they all look freshly risen from the ooze. My fave undead. Love the mummy/zombie look. As ever sculpts by @mad-elf.bsky.social
Three bog undead rising from marshy bases. 1 with a bow and 2 with rusty weapons. The bases are covered in marsh grass and bull rushes and have water effects in the bases. The messy, ‘let the wash fall where it may’ style is the opposite of my usual. I’ve gone a bit too far with the 2nd and need to dial it back a bit. I’ll do more, see how they look as a group. May end up redoing 1 or 2 if I can Goldilocks my way to a happy middle. Lovely minis tho. @fenrisgames.com

Back in the distant past (2010’s) we played pulpy Weird War 2. It was a lot of fun! My son wanted examples of camo nets for a mini he’s doing and I remembered these. I have a whole company of British airborne, 40 ish minis total! Airborne Druid and green man too. I’ll dig them out and photo them.

Musing on doing some god figures, Hero questing mortals embodying their gods and goddesses with a suitably awesome increase in stature. Ernalda, Orlanth and Storm Bull. They’re from Lucid Eye.

Here’s out a boat for my Zola Fel river bandits. Mostly on small bases so they fit ok. It’s an archaic vessel perfect for Gloranths. I’m giving it a figurehead, a mast and stowage. Almost all from @fenrisgames.com Ian, do you have turtle shells in stock? I want to hang them like viking shields!
Resin reed or rope river boat. Inside are oars, shell shields lined up on the sides and a dragon figurehead. Same boat with goose, trollkin, river guide, duck and another trollkin aboard and a river spirit besides. Flotsam scattered about.
