The set was another thing that bugged me. For a while he had this light and clean set, and at some point he changed it out for a dark and moody one which I feel affected the "mood" of the videos

I went off his stuff even before that whole controversy (which I admit I still don't even completely understand). He started delving more into long-form skit comedy, when I feel his strength was in the quips and smash-cuts.

Yeah, it's the Vanilla Ice video he did yonks ago. Not that I knew that off-hand, I haven't really paid attention to JonTron in like a decade at this point
