Left leaning , believes in social justice , hates prejudice. Recently disabled (accident) trying to adapt. Love fishing and beer .
The suggestion that this is just going to give us more of the same is not true. These are the worst of the last lot, and things would get worse as a result.

It's the Trump way, though why they let him get away with it is odd.

Is there any truth in the suggestion that Reform are considering adopting the supermarkets greatest tool regarding young workers, the BOGOF.
February 17, 2026 at 7:03 PM
A Reform MP for a month but a dickhead for much, much, longer

In other news 30p Lees appointment to minister of colouring in is very fitting.

I understand you're not a RW looney or I wouldn't have replied. This was however at the request of the councils, there is no imminent GE and would simply have saved them alot of money. Slating thr gvmt for this simply pushes the RW view of Labour and doesn't help anyone else.
February 17, 2026 at 11:17 AM
I expected the MSM to jump on the Reform publicity stunt that this is. But, generally sensible left wingers are also using it to slate Starmer for something that makes sense. Madness.

As Nat King Cole said, "there may be trouble ahead "
February 17, 2026 at 9:41 AM
Bunch of failed Tories stand behind a man who failed at...everything.
February 17, 2026 at 9:38 AM
This was requested by the councils to save them the expense of having to do it again in less than 12 mths. It's been done before. All you're doing is playing along with the Reform publicity stunt.
February 17, 2026 at 9:36 AM
I think you'll find Reform love young people, to work for them on as low a wage as possible.
February 17, 2026 at 9:32 AM
Just a publicity stunt, and as usual the MSM played along.
February 17, 2026 at 8:52 AM
Was this really a U turn. The councils asked for it, it's been done before. The only ones to gain are Reform, just a cheap, for them, publicity stunt.
February 17, 2026 at 8:50 AM
All in the name of democracy, by an undemocratically chosen leader of a LTD company. One rule and all that.
February 17, 2026 at 8:46 AM
Councils requested the delay as it would mean re-elections would have to take place. It has happened before. An unnecessary expense for political point scoring by Reform.
February 17, 2026 at 7:02 AM
I would like to think you're right regarding Labour, you're comment about Kemi however, is worthy of evens at best.
February 16, 2026 at 6:53 PM
300 characters is not enough to list all the things Farage should be asked, but never is.
February 16, 2026 at 6:45 PM
The BBC are loving it though.
February 16, 2026 at 6:41 PM
It's makes no sense , all we get out of it is a huge bill, just to allow the MSM to pat Reform on the back.
February 16, 2026 at 6:34 PM
The BBC enabling Reform to grab headlines again.
February 16, 2026 at 6:20 PM
Is this the same Matt Goodwin that has made numerous racist comments whilst running for the seat of Gorton and Denton.
February 16, 2026 at 12:06 PM
What a brilliant plan. Let's also deny the existence of racism, fascism, self interested little grifters and barking mad world leaders. This politics thing is easier than I thought.
February 16, 2026 at 11:57 AM
Perhaps if the car parks weren't in private hands fees could be lowered, and any profit go towards the hospital. Hardly a radical idea, but it might work.
February 16, 2026 at 9:42 AM
One limp lettuce and a turnip, it's like the reduced counter in tesco.
February 16, 2026 at 9:39 AM
Most unpopular through actions or most hated because of the constant misleading, RW influence of the MSM.
