The mystery in the front-end of the book builds to a wild ride on the back-end, full of twists and turns, packed with action, and tinged with a little heartache. A superb debut that I heartily recommend. Here’s hoping there’s more to Joelsen’s story down the road.

While establishing his lead character, Nedecky also does a wonderful job of creating a living, breathing city, making me feel like I’ve been to Winnipeg and walked its dark-and-dingy mean streets. Truly excellent work with characterization and setting throughout.

Jake’s character is complex, fighting the demons of addiction and anger while doing his best to help the down-and-out that society has discarded. As the current case unfolds, his backstory is revealed during flashbacks, offering details without slowing the story’s pace.

Dark, humorous, action-packed, full of unique characters and locales, TITANIUM NOIR is a page-turner of the highest order.

Huge thanks to @readerdad.co.uk for recommending one of the best books I’ve read this year.

I love this series so much. Joe has perfectly recaptured the action-adventure style of yesteryear: a little sex, a lot of violence, and no-holds-barred action that keeps you flipping pages. I am not being hyperbolic when I say give me Frenzi over the Executioner or Death Merchant any day.

That one is on the horizon. Hate to hear it’s a dud, but as a completist I’ll have to give it a go.

Yeah, it was a wild 48 hours last weekend when I had not one, not two, but three stories all published at once. Figure I’ll repost them all soon to give people another chance.

And thank you for checking it out! You’re not the first person to think the mailman was a dick, myself included! 🤣

Cannot tell you how on-edge I was in the final couple pages. Was really hoping it didn’t go south the way I thought it would. 😬
