Hi there! I am an average mountain biker from Western Switzerland who wants to share with MTB people from around the world. I am also interested in snowboarding and ski touring.

It might even be a 2004/2005 model...

They are so old that I can't find images on the Internet to verify the year of the model... With the Diamir Freeride bindings, they were anvils going uphill. But they were nice downhill. I think the size was 89mm, with almost no rocker. That's crazy compared to modern freeride skis specs!

Plus I put some synthwave music for some 80s retro-futuristic vibe 🤣

Wow! That looks really slippery...

Haha that's true! Hopefully it was dry this time. It was last weekend. It must be covered with 20cm of fresh snow right now! I rode it for the first time last year, more or less at the same period of the year, in the wet. It was sketchy for sure!

Yes it could surely be a bit lower for that type of terrain. But I very rarely go below 20/22 even when it's loose or muddy. My rides are often a mix of terrains with sharp rocks and steep loamers. I am also the slowest of the pack for the climbs 😬 so I don't go too low if I want to survive 😅
