Today, I’m finishing a lecture I will give next Wednesday at a conference in Milan entitled, "Stolen children, disputed children. Forced baptisms in the modern and contemporary age." My presentation is based on research on the Mortara case from the Vatican Archives.

2025 marks the 60th anniversary of Vatican II’s Nostra Aetate. Catholic priests and interreligious officers are invited to reflect with Saint Leo University’s Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies on the significance of the declaration and its fruits today. Monday, February 24, in sunny Tampa Bay.
