A motorcyclist barreled down between two lanes of stopped cars on the I-35E frontage road so he could turn right onto Brinker. He even took both hands off his handles to show off. All of us drivers could only stare helplessly at his backpack in the form of Garfield.
Co-worker was trying to recommend "One Battle After Another" to the office, but the closest he got to remembering the title was "Fight Me for a Long Time."

Even APPLYING to The Onion in college (and obviously failing) made me a better, tighter writer. It's great exercise for making your sentences shorter, funnier, less robotic, more unhinged, smellier and/or more beautiful.
