Artoriel does most of the orchestra compositions, Lyra focuses on melodies and lyrics. Between the two of them they bring about an entire musical Renaissance to Ishgard

At first glance it looks like they hate each other. They insult each other and bicker and squabble over every detail but they also see each other's musical skills for what they are and by weaving their styles together does their music truly evolve

Lyra obviously has the most lore of them all but to tell her story, also means telling the story of the people around her and how they got to that point. It adds a lot more depth and life into the story for me and I enjoy fleshing it out as much as possible

Nikolai's role ends there, Lyra comes home after EW with Aymeric as her betrothed, and he gives his blessing to his sister as she goes off to start her own family in Ishgard. He later inherits the farm, but never starts a family of his own, bequeathing the land to Dimitri and Hina's children.
