First thing to jump into my head.

This would be the fastest way to get the those file out there.

And he won't.

So he'll quietly drop the suit and declare himself victorious (probably).

Or go after Noah on an immigration technicality.
If he sues, then wouldn’t Noah’s lawyers demand that the unredacted Epstein files be released for discovery. Hmmm…Let’s see how this plays out.

The bizarre human tendency to try to dictate to another on how they should feel or process something.

I've come across it many times, from managing my chronic conditions to people telling me I MUST be perimenopausal, because they are, while my doctors are, um, no.

Latest: empty nest syndrome. 1/

The puzzle: for years I wondered how certain people achieved such thick smoothies. I tried ice and it didn’t work.

Discovery: They were using frozen banana.

The lesson learned: take the peel off before you freeze said banana.

I may be a minor writer in South Africa but at least I didn’t recently use my platforms to write about the ”the palpable excitement” over a project founded by “a bunch of influential and famous academics and intellectuals” who…

Are in the Epstein files.

Or their spouses.

Or friends.

I confess, it never occurred to me that Zuma was in the Epstein files.

Nonetheless, I am not surprised by the revelation. The man has an ugly past in regards to women…if you believe women…and I do.

May Fezekile Ntsukela Kuzwayo, aka “Khwezi,” rest in peace.
Revealed: Jacob Zuma’s intimate dinner with Jeffrey Epstein
Hidden among the latest disclosures from the US Justice Department are emails relating to an intimate dinner organised by the late sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein for Jacob Zuma in London in 2010.…

I still think of the author who got big mad at me at the start of this administration’s reign.

She was upset that an event was being held in X country because it could be unsafe.

I pointed out that holding global writing events in the US was also highly problematic.

She, er, disagreed.

I’m glad he is getting out.
But the wounds might last for the rest of his life.

Also, while I’m happy he’s being freed, there are so many more children still locked up that need to be released.

Getting titers checked in my part of the world is a pita and expensive.

Just getting vax’d again was easy, affordable and quick.

I had no side effects from it. Not even the arm ache I get from a tetanus booster.
If you're an adult who was vaccinated, you should get your titers run to make sure you still have immunity. Vaccination can wane and/or you may not have generated a strong immune response. That was ok when we had herd immunity but we're likely about to lose our "measles free" status.
Vaccinate your kids, you friggin nuts.

I originally saw this on FB and sent it to my over 40 “normie” peeps in the US who keep showing up.

And sent…

Yes.
I keep thinking again, in light of the latest Epstein files dump, about how MeToo “went too far.”

A hopeful start.
So much more work to do.
May the work continue to press forward.
there’s been an assumption that when Dems take power again they will keep ICE funded at these ridiculous levels forever and they are now on record voting to end that

they’ll need to go much further than that but it’s a start - and I sure don’t see the politics of ICE improving between now and then
👀 Every Senate Democrat + Collins and Murkowski just voted for the Bernie Sanders amendment to repeal the $75 billion in additional ICE funding under Trump’s “big beautiful bill.” The measure failed 49-51.

Very relieved to see this.

Lemon is high profile. But the other reporters are not as well known and much more vulnerable.

This is disturbing.

As is the entire thread.
The app features gamified neighborhood maps, like Pokémon Go for hunting immigrants. Palantir warns the software is "not for mass prioritization of locations where lots of people it [ICE] might detain could be based."

But this is what actually happens when you give ICE a map and a quota:

Georgia Fort's is chilling, and it's being overshadowed by the equally chilling arrest of Don Lemon.

A GoFundMe is being set up for Fort. In the meantime, you can support her work directly – without paying massive fundraising platform fees – through her website:

Complained to my eldest about google and he has suggested that I give Ecosia a go:

Ecosia - the search engine that plants trees
Ecosia uses 100% of its profits for the planet and produces enough renewable energy to power all searches twice over.

No more funding.
None.
A Minnesota woman observing ICE agents in her car was cornered on one-way streets. An agent approached, called her by name—citing facial recognition. Days later, her Global Entry and TSA privileges were revoked, with no explanation.

The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

I hope @schumer.senate.gov and other democrats are not considering voting for an agency that is being used to arrest independent journalists not parroting MAGA talking points.

Because the constitution needs to mean something for a democracy to work.

Hyperfix latest episode shows how disturbingly comfortable government, even local governments, are with lying and not honouring FOIA in an honest manner.

Sure, a flock of ducks isn’t a big issue in the grander scope. But if they’re this confident of covering up this…than so much else is hidden.

I cantered in a jumping saddle yesterday.

Was warming Renfri up for the person jumping her. The thing is like a dinner plate with stirrups.

And those stirrups are so far forward.

But I did it. Very pleased with my older, #EDS & fibro and, and, and … body.
