I can't get one element of my UI the way I want it (related to visibility of cooldowns). I've only found one addon that can do what I want, and it conflicts with other addons I have and like better for what they can do.

Spent the evening in my happy place - rebuilding my UI in WoW 😊 It’s not a perfect replacement for what I had, but I also don’t hate it as much as I thought I would!

Sometimes, when I'm waiting for a queue to pop, I change into Druid's Flight form and fly way up. Then I turn into Bear form and plummet to earth, and see if I can get really close to the ground and turn back into flight form without dying...

- a tracked buff is applied or expired.
Ability to color enemy nameplates (eg casters have pink bars).
Buff/debuff filtering - on raid frames, but also on your personal buff/debuff panels.

One can argue that addons make WoW less approachable & give players an unfair advantage.
One can also argue that addons make WoW more accessible & help level the playing field, particularly for players who have visual, physical, or cognitive challenges.

Finally did the Broken Shore scenario in Legion Remix. Varian's death STILL makes me cry. Peak Warcraft story telling. I don't know if the story will ever make me feel that way again.
I like being able to run instances with Horde friends, but I really miss the factional element to the story.

I now understand players who say they want to play nothing but Classic. Because that's how I feel about Legion Remix.
I would totally play beyond December on a Lemix-only server! I didn't realize how much I loved this expansion until now.

Sorry I've been M.I.A here and in gamedev circles. I've been dealing with some major life changes like moving back in with my parents. I'm still looking for work in Narrative Design and similar fields but also have transferable skills in QA and Editing/Publishing. I'd appreciate a repost ❤️

The whole “git gud”/“adapt or quit playing” response to the removal of combat addons from WoW infuriates me. It’s not just that people are trying to take the easy way out. Some people just literally CANNOT process information in the way it’s presented by the game.
