Seen yesterday on 99W near Sherwood, Oregon: #WeirdCarMastodon
1950s Chevy Impala two-door in blue-gray. It's insanely long with a relatively tiny cabin It has huge diagonal fins in back and a contoured front bumper and has been lowered slightly so the wheels are only half visible and it looks like a reef shark prowling for prey. It's what the Vatmobile would look like if Batman were way cooler. Same car seen from behind, with the giant fins looking like something from Buck Rogers.

Both our adult kids came over for the birthday dinner Lyricdancer tonight (one with a beau we approve of), and it was lovely, and just now I received this text from my 30 y.o. and suddenly everything's getting blurry and misty for some reason.
