Now, I've really thought about this and weighed up the pros & cons of moving now VS moving after my first paycheque.

In short: I'm going to need the approx. same amount financial assistance for both.

Moving ASAP would be the best option, but would mean I need to fundraise a huge amount in 2 days.
MOVE NOW: Security deposit- $495 First & Last - 1980 Moving truck- $499 (estimated) = $3000 approx Pros: • Closer to work • More quality sleep • More focus at new job • Confirmed Queer, dem roommate (as opposed to MAGA roomie) Cons: • Need $$$$ ASAP • Not sure if new roommate is a psycho MOVE LATER: Gas $750 Car rental - $460 Rent (current) - $815 (And then again in 1 month: Security deposit- $495 First & Last - 1980 Moving truck- $499 (estimated) ) = $5000 approx Pros: • More time to find another apartment • Will be able to pay $2000 from paycheque (end of March) for moving costs Cons: • 6 hours travel per day • Will end up costing more overall • Sort of unsustainable - tiring • Would be lying to employer about living arrangements

I need BIG support from y'all to pull this off, but ultimately this job would mean PROPER housing & food security for me.

It would mean that I don't have to worry about meeting crazy Doordash targets to barely survive.

I would be getting a proper living wage that covers all my needs.
