Christmas morning 1993 I hit a patch of black ice, spun that car around, straightened back out & lived to tell the tale. I literally heard my driver's ed teacher's voice yelling "STEER INTO THE SKID" and it worked. I pulled over when it was safe & collected myself.

By then I'd upgraded to the fancy new flip phones & all because I didn't have to pay a penny for the phones since they were used to keep the cell towers online & I could remotely log in & reboot the system on-call 24/7
My toddler had one of these phones too, because they wanted me to have a back up

A two-seater that had my kid's carseat in one of them, because I was a young single mom & a family offered me the sports car for $1k after my previous one died. It worked, passed smog, had brand new tires & got me to work & the grocery store. I sold it for $500 after I saved up for a Honda.
