No, it does need the last line. And it also needed the two lines before that flipped.

Prompt no. 1574: lurking
#haikuhorrorprompt
#notahaiku

I'll post an actual haiku later...

This poem was already drafted and was asking to be tidied up a bit, and volunteered itself for the subject of the prompt.

Be the breakfast sandwich you want to see in the Universe...

...and save a tot or two for your dog!

Of course women don't like the Cybertruck.

Women only want one thing, and it's the Bat-Cycle!

#APoemADay ~ revisions from August
October 16, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Time to get back to the #APoemADay practice. I was with my sister Kris during her last days, and she came by my bedside the morning I left her home. I've had dream visitations before, but this was different. I love you Ki-Ki.

These are pages that have been revised slightly. The accuracy/proverb page needed an image that better fit the theme. I also played with it to pop a few elements. Folly needed a different butterfly -- I accidentally grabbed an image that wasn't public domain.

Alrighty. It's not as fancy, but this is what I did. I think I'm going to ask the wedding stylist to do this, but to add the cute tendrils that Zenyip did.

I have a very grumpy profile--I need to unlearn that somehow...

Look! My boo-boo wants to be in a horror flick!

Don't worry... it's literally just a scratch and has been cleaned up and bandaged.

Okey dokes. While it hits the mother-of-the-bride on the nose, I don't think that this will work for me. More notes in the alt text. And more pictures later after I play with it.

#APoemADay, for Pamela

Thank you, @boneweaver.bsky.social for allowing me to play with your words, rhythm, and wisdom.

Just zhuzhed up yesterday's installment a bit. Now it needs to bake; it might be done, but I'm too close to it to tell.

#APoemADay, but not a new one...just the chapbook page of "for kerry, hopkins, and frost". Which, as always, did not play out the way I envisioned. I wanted to layer falling leaves all around it, but I found this tree (public domain) and fell in love, so I used it instead.

The forgotten reference is tucked into the beginning of the middle where it belongs. And always, this poem is for @kerryloco.bsky.social

Why am I up so late? Two words: hyper focus!

Here is the promised chapbook page for arbitrary, and I'm also including the page with disguises and fear falling, since I updated it. And all of the other pages. Lots and lots of editing, once I found the construction process that worked well for me.

Two for the price of one. Again, neither of these ended up how I wanted, but for the most part, I like where they landed. The silhouette of the dancers needs to be sized up a bit, and/or have less transparency.

And now it's my bedtime -- goodnight, Bluesky! Try to be kind, okay?
