I have heard a lot of iOS/MacOS angst over the 26 version. I think I'm going to continue to hold back on updating for a while.

The only good thing about it is my friend is a deckhand and gets the day off. :)

I feel for the people trying to travel but yes, they sure seem to blame weather on weird things.

Well that charger would work, and a new cord later on is cheaper than buying both. That said, I got through battery limitations with my older phone by using lower power mode quite frequently if you haven't tried that out yet.

The good part is next time you'll just need to update the cord, the charger plug itself should last. Hopefully the 8 lasts you for a while longer. I recently gave up on a rather old original SE.

It has usbc to connect to the plug that goes into your charging outlet, and lightning that goes to the phone. Looks like it is probably the right one. My point was just that if you got a new phone like mentioned it would have usbc and you'd need a new cord (not charger) - like I did earlier.

The new phones are USB C now. Frankly, it is a better connection with more possibilities (and 3rd party options) but that meant earlier this year I had to update the car charger cord from lightning to usbc. It never ends. 🙄

Well if the Crows try to start something I'm sure the Hummingbirds will be in their face trying to start something. 😆

I'm not giving them a pass at all, it is ignorant, it just seems further to go when one is already taught all the "Best country in the world" things. Trying to think of a Canadian equivalent kind of song, I'm sure there are a lot.

Probably same or similar people who think Every Breath You Take is a romance song. Song meanings are probably even harder to grasp when they are about their country as a whole.

I've not had this issue. File associations have been maintained unless I install some new program that wants to be "the one" and Windows is like sure - here you go - open all the things even if you shouldn't. 🙄

I'd miss him but I'd rather keep Garland. Not sure if either is sticking around though I guess.

Very gross here too. Colours on the radar I'm not that familiar with. I supposed after this goes through the wind will be the next party.

I had not considered that exact angle, but I do hate walking out of a store without proof I paid. I think 90% of the time they ask me they've already printed the receipt though. 🙄

Increasingly glad I put 64Gb in my new machine a year ago!

Christmas is far enough out that hopefully this rain event won't impact that travel. Looks to be colder around then too. Maybe we will have to deal with snow instead. 😬

I can only look at so many weather models I only half understand, but it kind of looks like this will be worse for Sea to sky, North Shore, north of the Fraser. Maybe not the Coquihalla area this time. I mean we are all getting a lot of rain, just not 300+mm in 36hrs like 2021. Not sure about VI.

I mean of all the people I follow I think you are way ahead of anyone on the soup making already. :)

I am concerned about this storm too. Hopefully not as many rivers flooding like in Washington earlier but landslides and highways closed seems like a real possibility.
