EXACTLY. My younger brothers girlfriend (27) had never heard of a bouillon cube. I was absolutely shocked so then I had him call up like 15 of his friends (all mid too late 20s) and only one had even heard of bullion cubes and he said it was to “ put more flavor in a stew or something” 🤯

You can always use the broth to substitute for wine and also many other liquids in a lot of savory dishes.
Also, if you don’t have any broth, you can use a cup of water per bouillon cube (diluted), it makes broth. (I was shocked at how many people don’t know this)
