The first edu job was wild. Just teaching kids the Adobe suite after school $60 a week.
Shitty company that doesn't exist anymore. Knew that was in the cards because the 'meet the founder' section on the website was him in a pool with a leopard, Tiger King style.

Scope management. It's a lot easier to pump out ps1 style assets for a game than full PBR and Baked 3D assets.

I think that was part of the Blockbuster/Rental appeal really.
We do need a cheaper option for big budget AAA titles for people to just interact with them more. Used and Rental filled that void, but those died.

Honestly the 'Passively bingeable games' that would go crazy on Netflix for Games are already free or cheaper than a game pass Sub.
But if there was some sort of regulation that caused F2P or Micro Transactions to stop, the Netflix for Games would go crazy.
