How is the council conducting oversight to ensure school staff are implementing the proper academia related to their prospective programs?

Without having many options available, when students apply to an out-of-boundary specialized school, transportation should be provided to them by the city because closet options have not been provided.

My son has to take the Metro to and from school daily. Why has the District not yet created another school just like McKinley or a second campus, east of the river, that would be more convenient?

Next, I believe Tech is a great school & perfect for my eldest son but I sometimes wonder if the District is providing necessary oversight to ensure that Tech is providing overall academic excellence in technological education. I also wish Tech had at least one additional campus closer to our home.

How is the council holding DCPS and DGS responsible for the lack of building safety and restoration?

I have been advocating for Plummer to be placed on the revitalization list for about three years. Nothing has been done.

DGS requests for Plummer have been put on hold despite consistently placing orders for healing issues. About three years ago, DCPS facilities spoke to a team of teachers, but nothing really occurred.

Based on these facts, Plummer should rank in the need for Facility Condition, Demand, Community Need, and Equity according to the 2022 PACE module.
