I've been retired for a couple of years. Some things may have changed. Very expensive relative to buying physical copies. Hope this helps.

The library purchases access to titles, with limits on the number of circulations &/or for a set period of time. Access ends once it has reached the set number of uses or been available for the specified period.
Each is treated like a physical book,one person at a time can read it(some exceptions).
