This is so interesting and great to hear such positive feedback. I think the training is key and it can’t ‘just’ be implemented across school without it! Thank you!

We are split site, about two miles apart. We bring our children together for a day each half term alternating schools and it has become the most magical of days. Year 6 have buddies with reception, the teachers build relationships with children from other key stages, developing social skills 🌳

We bought a Berg Go Kart with push handle for our LO when she was 2. She still loves it. Her bro’s have the bigger ones. The peddles fold in but now she is 3 and half, she loves to peddle herself for some of the walk. There are other colours. www.wickentoys.co.uk/shop-by-bran...
BERG Go2 Blue
The clever design means that the BERG Go2 is extremely stable when cornering so it is much less likely to tip over when compared to a trike.  The Go2 features pedals that are attached o...

I loved Pig Heart Boy by Malorie Blackman in Year 6. Incredible writing from the children. When I bump into the children 7 years on, they still talk about it.

Great thanks!

Great way to show children they’re not the only one feeling that way. I guess you can then do some ELSA work with a small group children who click they are ‘worried’. I wonder if Zones could work this way if I create an interactive ‘quiz’ for the children to complete - brain is ticking now - thanks

We are trialling it as a small intervention and research project. Interesting to hear it wasn’t successful as whole school as the idea is to roll out once the project is complete. I will look into the staff training aspect too. Thank you!

I haven’t seen this. I like the use of questions, are the responses anonymous?

Thank you! Wish you could edit comments 🤣 roll*

I’m doing a research project on the impact of zones with the view to roll out to whole school, Finding supportive research is very difficult, it’s good to hear that others have seen some positive results from it. It’s not a one shoe fits all, which some might hope for.

We are currently trialling it in a small group with the view to role out whole class/school. I may pop back and ask you some questions if that’s ok!
August 18, 2024 at 7:36 AM
Thank you for your response. I am currently running a research project with small number of children, on the impact of Zones for TILP and with view to role out whole school. Research I have found shows very little, if any, impact. Teach masking, that’s an interesting point!
