Our county library system has a similar program, you only get two tickets, but they are good for 12 museums and historic sites.

Skunks are nocturnal so my Mom, who had dementia, started yelling in the middle of the night that she had a skunk in her room. I went into her room to see what the problem actually was and turned on the light and was shocked that she was right. The Skunk ran from the light back outside.

I first heard about it when I was studying the Civil War. Apparently the union army gave their troops green beans as part of their rations that they were then expected to roast over their campfires?

She definitely knows adults who have changed their name, it's not that uncommon. Somebody around her uses a polite nickname that she could tell the judge she uses routinely anyway.

Buses in my town stop running at 6, the only job my son could find gets off at 8, at which point it's to dark to bike. The only people taking the bus have no options.

Had a kid doing that last week IN MY SCHOOL LIBRARY!! I try to make the library a safe area where you can escape shaming from other kids, but "your phone is mine and I will only return it to a guardian. "

I use the rule that the younger partner can be no younger than half the age of the older +7 years. So a 50 year old is not in anything like an equitable relationship with someone less than 32, or a 17 year old someone less than 15. I want to mother men in their 20's.
