Long time since I knitted (completed)anything. Finally made the Alaska hat, which I’ve been wanting to do since I saw the pattern 4 years ago. Not my neatest work, lol. Have to say, I really didn’t love knitpicks Chroma, won’t be using it again.

This morning I came across the bench donated in memory of Janet Reid. What a perfect spot, looking over the Harlem Meer, and you can see the Discovery Center. I know we were on Twitter at the time, but if anyone is here who isn’t local:

Turns out if I’m overtired and over stressed enough, not only will my tension be uneven but I’ll spontaneously start knitting inside out and not notice for several rounds.

Had an irresistible urge for old fashioned macaroni salad. How I make it is always a little different depending on what I have on hand, but the hot cherry peppers are non negotiable

Working on a tank top for my daughter. Pretty pleased with how it’s coming along, despite the learning curve of my first time knitting with silk.

I’ve reached the point in this sweater where I’m certain humans are really sloths without fur, our arms are so long. 🧶 I have always been knitting this sleeve. 😭
