Once again, for the people in the back, Donald Trump is an avatar, not an actual functioning leader. He is cognitively declining and being used by the people around him. The media needs to stop reporting on his statements as any kind of definitive policy.

I like the sequel as a "space" movie, but nothing will ever equal the trip of the original -- and I wasn't even altered when I saw it! :-)

I'm agree with "apparatus of the state," but when you simply write "America," that - to me - includes the citizens of the country, and it's clear that right now the majority of citizens are not in favor of his actions. I was just requesting that differentiation.

Every time I see the clip of Vance espousing his view of the # of generations that makes a real American, I yell at the screen: "My family arrived at the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1650, bitch! Kneel before your betters!"

Then I remember his premise is evil & that's a better reason to smack him.

One could argue that she's an excellent press secretary in that she is extremely effective in communicating the moral rot of this administration. She's a terrible human being, but those are the people who rise to the top in Trumpland.

At our No Kings rally, I told a friend that I knew we wouldn't change the mind of the MAGA person driving by & giving us the finger, but we might affect the quiet person sitting beside them. This may also be true of these debates: no one involved is changing their mind, but maybe a viewer will.

I mean, DUH. Of *course* they went ahead with the demolition of the East Wing w/o consulting The Nat'l Trust For Historic Preservation or anyone else. These letters of "concern" being sent are waaay too late. If you want to stop Trump, you must start before he does. #EastWing #Ballroom
