Champion of the Weird vastly underperformed. Rarely had spots where the activated ability was useful at all. Without creatures that want counters, it was kind of just bad here.
Bloodline Bidding was mediocre as expected. Would have preferred a 1B double Raise Dead.

My LGS, which is *primarily a comic book store*, very consistently gets 60-80 players for their Saturday noon prereleases... only 32 here today for Spider-Man.

I really strive to avoid schadenfreude in this game and to be 100% kind to all. But. I will admit to just laughing when my opponent in my 🏆 game in an Arena Direct run:
