After making that Rozenmarine piece, I was curious to see what one of my own characters would look like in the game’s art style (or at least as close as I could get) but it also didn’t sit right with me to not draw the main character, so I ended up doubling up when deciding to make more fanart.

I randomly came across it while looking at game sales last year. I’m not a big horror guy, so I was iffy while reading the description, but the art just captivated me so much I had to take the chance.
I ended up making fanart for it a day later. I think that shows if I was enjoying my time or not.

It’s actually funny you mention that. When I was drawing this, I was thinking about expanding upon her family lore & how she interacted with them & I thought she’d be a hugger type.

I’ve been slowly fizzling out of CoD ever since I got my first job a few years ago, & was able to buy games on my own.
Developed a lot of new tastes in genres & have had a lot of indies/smaller developed games take a lot of my focus over what’s more mainstream.
This was the final straw though.

I can’t begin to imagine what it’s like for people who do art as a job. I only do this as a hobby & it negatively affects my mood when I think about it too deeply.

Yeah. It’s one thing to see that stuff online. But seeing it creep into games, especially ones that cost AAA prices is absolutely disgusting. I would have absolutely no desire to unlock these, even if I never got into art.
