This might be a bit of a hot take, but I always preferred the way Oblivion did lock picking compared to how they did it with Fallout 3 and onwards. Idk there’s just something about it that makes it more satisfying

The remake was pretty faithful to the original, for better or for worse. At least the remake controls MUCH better, and they added some new mechanics to spice things up. It’s still very difficult, but worth trying out if you want to try an early immersive sim type game with a really cool villain.

I finished System Shock Remake a few days ago and I enjoyed it a lot! I remember playing the demo years and years ago and was pleasantly surprised to see this game finally released.

I’m 100% serious when I say Thief and Thief 2 have the best audio design I’ve ever seen in a video game. No game, even within the immersive sim or stealth genre, comes close. I don’t know how they did it.
