The downside is I am struggling to really embrace this Notts team as they just feel far more functional than some of the glorious football we played under Williams and occasionally Maynard.

I feel the same way was hoping for something a bit more 70s Addidas inspired. This was a bit of a let down when measured against those hopes.

I wouldn’t be picking Jarvis for the starting 11 but with a run of games I think he could offer something. Traore I just don’t see it ever working out for him at Notts. Khouyar and Ness were reasonable Iorpenda as well I expected more from Hall to be honest.

I think Jarvis and Traore have worked hard and haven’t really achieved much but think there have been far poorer performances from others such as Platt, Dennis, Bennetts

Two dreadful errors have been punished I don’t think the scoreline is really reflective as griffiths hasn’t had anything to save other than the two shots where he was exposed by his defenders
