Ultimately, I'd still put if ahead of Crystal Skull but behind the original three films (WAY behind, in the case of Raiders and Last Crusade).

That said, it's not without its charm. I like curmudgeonly old man Indy (Ford's specialty these days) and there are a lot of great one-liners ("You're German. Don't try to be funny"). I also found myself won round by Waller-Bridge despite having initially scratched my head at the casting choice.

I think I probably still feel roughly the same about it as I did after my first viewing. My biggest issue with it is how weightless and inconsequential everything feels. The action feels like it belongs in a video game IMO, and compares very unfavourably to anything in the original trilogy.

Weirdly, I get so much done on short train rides. The 15-minute journey into town (or back) is the perfect writing sprint for me. I'll often get far more done in those 15 minutes than I will in an hour at my desk.
