Before the season started I actually thought we had 2 very good players for each position (based on last season + additions), but sadly we’ve seen form drop off a cliff for at least half the outfield players. So frustrating.

We desperately need 1 or even 2 quality CB’s, a replacement for Diaz, and to start hitting our xG. But even with this there are some top players who don’t look comfortable in what they’re doing, and that’s the worry but that might be down to the manager to fix.

Maybe he wasn’t involved but they were all quality signings (some have been better than others this season). I don’t blame any of the new signings, it’s the established players who’ve been disappointing. I hope he can turn it around & he’ll get this season for sure.

We will undoubtedly improve because our levels throughout the team are so low, it’s there to see in almost every player. Slot bought a lot of good players and his job is to coach them into a winning team. At the moment there’s no balance, cohesion and surprisingly, no backbone. I do fear for him.

He will accept losing everything rather than face the shame of being monumentally gullible and stupid. I can actually recognise this male trait many of us have, but wow, someone should have been responsible enough to bring him back from the brink before it was too late..

But it’s mad to be even thinking that, right?
