The company was gutted after Disney bought Lucasfilm, and several promising projects were cancelled as a result. It technically still lives on as Lucasfilm Games, but they don't develop anything internally anymore. Nowadays it does little more than license their IP to external developers.

Have to give a shoutout to LucasArts here. They made some of the best point-and-click adventure games in the 80s and 90s, along with all the classic Star Wars and Indiana Jones games they made. Not to mention the games they published from other developers that might show up on this list.

We never owned some of the major 1st party Nintendo games like Mario 64, Zelda, or Mario Kart. But I never felt like we were missing out either since we had stuff like the Banjo Games and Diddy Kong Racing.

I was 4 when Donkey Kong Country originally released, so DK has sort of been a constant in my life since then.

Spent my early childhood playing lots of DKC 1 & 2 on SNES. Then my family got an N64 and we ended up owning mostly Rare titles, which is were I fell in love with the extended DK universe.

Knowing they were real toys makes those old bumpers that much more awesome.

Thanks for sharing!

So those were real toys? I always assumed they were just made for the Boomerang bumpers.

Many years ago, I visited a family in Chile. They made homemade pizza in an attempt to make us Americans feel more at home. Corn was one of the toppings on said pizza.

Honestly, it wasn't that bad. And the fact they made it special for us was super endearing too.

I completely forgot about the Cranky Kong controversy.

10+ years later, that puts Bananza's nomination and the state of the DK as a whole in a completely new perspective.

Had a work-issued Magic Mouse once. I've never been so offended by a piece of tech before.

Don't know if the Trogdor reference was intentional or not. But I love it either way.

I am looking forward to this video though. There isn't an obvious top 10 for Switch 2 yet like there is for other platforms, so it'll be interesting to see what sort of hidden gems people vote for.

While I'm happy with Switch 2, I can totally understand where some of these people come from.

Outside of the few Nintendo titles, much of the library is Switch 1 ports and 3rd-party/indies that are available on other platforms.

Depending on who you are, that might not be all that exciting.

I better check my saxophone's manual.

This song has genuinely been playing in my head on-and-off for the past 25 years. It's not always there, but when "Boo Boo Baba Dee Dee" takes hold, it consumes my entire day.

Will you count full-on "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition" games, or do those count as performance boost?
October 20, 2025 at 3:57 PM
They were clone troopers with genetic mutations that made them super-skilled at different things (one's super strong, one's a sniper, etc.)

Dee does a fantastic job giving each character a unique voice and personality, despite them all being clones of the same guy.

This video certainly took a turn.

Not much the average WBD employee can do either. Hope none of my contacts are negatively affected by this.
