I just wish that journalists and media organizations would stop giving him air time. I do not need to know what he does, why he does it, and certainly do not need to know about his opinions.

Why is it weird? I ask you to grab an end of a rope, string, ruler, giving you the opportunity to grab the left or right side.

I see it as all of the above because I started my career at age 20 in 2015 (sorry I'm young), with sysadmin experience that later morphed into network engineering in the datacenter and enterprise, then automating the maintenance and provisioning of customer services.
