I'll take the compliment, but I am unable to appeal and these were always a good seller, so it stings a little too
A prop scifi pistol, known as Liberty Hammer from the show Firefly. While the faded brass and copper paint job, along with convincing wood handles (all made from eva foam) are realistic, the design is clearly that of a bulk scifi blaster.

Mostly bugs, and my beautiful wife. I'm not super into wildlife photography (though I am impressed by it) or macro, but bugs are really cool. Yes, I consider a spider a bug. "bug" =/= "insect" fight me

I should start numbering these. I think this is #7, maybe #8.

Either way, for someone who has no background in drawing or painting or any art like that, I'm extremely happy with my progress.

That dead tree has so much good texture
A landscape oil painting there's trees on the left and right, that actually look kinda like trees (a huge step forward) and rocks in the foreground that are kinda cool looking. Wispy clouds in the sky are not too bad. A dead tree has fallen over and looks remarkably good, if I do say so myself. Like it has a lot of texture. The sky is blue and yellow in a way that didn't quite work, and the distant hill blends weird with the yellow sky, but it does kinda look like the sun, I guess

Last year, right after Winter Queen's Dollhouse came out, MrsGWillickers bought this stuffed sloth for me at the National Zoo, because we both thought it looked like Sweeper (the main friendly NPC)

I kept swearing I was gonna make the gear, and this weekend I finally finished her

It's really hard to share #astrophotography on social media though, because phones and compression, you won't see what I see. Still, these should be good viewing

Mistake pictures are my favorite sometimes.
This is my hand, my red headlamp and about 2 stars that you can just about make out where the two meet.

Not the pic I was trying to take (astrophotos to come), but it is really cool anyway

Turned in my resignation on Friday
This weekend I painted this new picture, finished a prop commission that's been on my bench for too long (pics to come) and got way closer to ready on another commission that needs finished soon

That job really was ruining my creativity

I did find time to do half a painting

Happy with the background tree, hate the evergreens

It was late at night and I was tired, so I stopped, but those ugly trees mean I'll probably never finish this one

Still, there was progress, so sharing
