I played my Betor, Ancestor's Voice deck against an Umbris player last night. By turning THREE he had a Planar Void AND a Dauthi Voidwalker out. I hadn't even had a chance to mill myself yet.

It's fantastic in my Kefka, Court Mage spellslinger deck, and any deck that is a third instants and sorceries make me want to make space for Bombardment

Versatile and possibly powerful would be the goal, I think. Like aiming for bracket 3, but okay with inconsistency if the games are wacky and memorable

Fair. My first thought was to shove as many modal spells in the deck as possible (prioritizing ones that allow maximum choices per spell) and reining it in if needed for function. I kinda did the same thing with my Yidris "Maximum Cascade" deck. I want fun, not necessarily optimal.
