I’ve always wanted a Christmas Cactus. They are so pretty when they are blooming. So today I finally bought myself one. She really brightens up the room.

I struggle with this everyday. Being a burden, ruining the mood… They have enough to worry about, without me adding to it. I try so hard to be the happy, supportive rock to everyone else.

The last 2 years have been difficult. Struggling more every day it seems. They say “it’s ok to not be ok”, but is it?
The outside doesn’t match the inside.
I see others finding joy. I’m truly so very happy for them & wish that for myself.

Not looking forward to today. Saying goodbye to someone you love is hard.
I also know that grief is the price paid for love. But there is nothing better in life than loving & being loved.
So I extend love & hugs to all who are in need of it today. Know that you matter & are loved ❤️

I’ve been spending less time online & trying to prioritize finding more joy in other areas of life.
Some days are good, some not so much. But minimizing the doom scrolling has helped a little in managing the constant anxiety of our world right now.
