Classic studies include 'Troublesome boys and compliant girls' Myhill and Jones (2005), 'She doesn't shout at no girls' M&J (2006), 'The Education of playful boys' Barnett (2018) and 'Anxious girls and laid-back boys' Perander et al. (2020). Yes, these show both of those phenomena.

Thanks for sharing, Paul. This backs up the research we see in education. Boys are far more likely to be labelled as troublesome and lazy, even when displaying the same behaviours as girls.
