Absolutely run away from the glossy finish. I hate, despise, and loathe my OLED screen because I can't stand glossy. I just bought a matte finish protector because it was unusable. I'm so mad I paid extra for this.

I had a great time putting together a setting, adventure, and characters in a collaborative environment. The system itself allows for a tremendous amount of player creativity in defining not just how their character works, but the exact mechanism/justification for their abilities.

Yeah, totally. Even though the need for resources increases, the scaling factor works so well. So many things can be shared, so many challenges are easier, etc.

FWIW I installed Linux on the computer and have been using it for a few weeks without issues, so I'm now totally convinced the locking-up issues were NOT hardware related. Still weird, but now I have a functional device.

I have most of these. Would love a tajine. Tortilla press is cool but I gave minimal counter space. I have an amazing japanese knife, just not that specific one.

One of the things I figured out early on is that if I can convey just one item of value to one person it's been a success. Everything beyond that is a bonus. It really took the pressure off for me and gave me room to find my style.
