BBC Music correspondent, occasional songwriter. Lady Gaga once told me a story about blueberry coffee that’s unprintable anywhere.
I only use Spotify to screen new releases from PR emails. This apparently makes me too young to buy fireworks or watch The Exorcist.

They’ve already been called the next Soice Girls, this kinda sealed the deal.

Sam Ryder opens up about the tough 18 months he spent piecing together his career after breaking up with his record label.

Very honoured that Sam was so candid and honest in our interview. And very happy he’s emerged stronger and happier. A lovely human.

Congratulations to Sam Fender - who won the 2025 Mercury Prize for his third album People Watching.

I grabbed him as he came off the stage for an instant reaction.

The Last Dinner Party's new album is a sumptuous feast for the ears (do you see what I did there, etc...)

Ahead of the release tomorrow, I caught up with Abi, Georgia and Emily to talk about relationships, tragedy and humungous guitar riffs.

For the first time ever, Queen are playing Bohemian Rhapsody with a full orchestra and chorus at the BBC Proms on Saturday.

I was lucky enough to catch up with Brian May & Roger Taylor backstage to talk about the song’s legacy. Tune in tonight to see the spine-tingling performance #proms

A night out with Coldplay and the eldest daughter was the perfect antidote to an UNBELIEVABLY difficult work day. All the stress evaporated and floated away. 💜 ♥️ 💙

A sobering but uplifting day reporting on Ozzy Osbourne's funeral cortège.

The fans really showed up for him - complete with black roses, bottles of Jack Daniels and inflatable bats.

The family were clearly grief-stricken but heartened by the outpouring of love. Rock in peace, Ozzy.

Over on Reddit, someone's managed to grab Oasis's printed setlist from their comeback gig.

Interestingly, it's marked "v.5", despite being exactly the same as one that leaked earlier this week.
