11k midweek threshold and 14k including parkrun yesterday made today's 'easy' 10 miler anything but.
All that plus a zwift hill climb on Tuesday and my Garmin is still not satisfied!

Most UK GCSE specifications specify the differences to be taught. Even if they didn't, we should be accurate with our language to avoid building in misconceptions for later on.

Am I wrong about this? Is it still ICT in Wales/Scotland etc? It's been about 8 years since the subject was ICT in England.....

I've been extra conscious of Sue Sentance's advice about the syntactic density of code this week. Really slowed down the conditional iteration lessons to y10. Writing just the loop line on MWBs until they'd got it had great impact in later tasks. #TeamCompSci #CASchat #CSed #EduSky

Thanks! IMHO they're the best way of checking for understanding. I just had to find a routine to fit them into the flow of a lesson. We explicitly teach students how to get out/put away using these slides (last one is for classroom exit too). #teamcompsci #caschat #edusky

MWB - you're right, they're mini whiteboards. I have a blue plastic folder containing an MWB, pen and eraser behind every PC. Superb for getting high participation ratio and giving me lots of info in the check for understanding phase.
