Cargo bikes, urbanism, safe streets, climate. Heat pump all the things! Views are my own. #MadisonWI
I hit 4,000 miles on my HSD this morning on the way back from skating! This bike is so great, super low maintenance!

Being on the ice at 6am is fun (no joke) but it’s pretty extra great when I am rewarded by a beautiful sunrise leaving the rink.

Before and after of my groceries. Not pictured: 20lb bag of rice and box of diapers under the cart. I feel like I had room for more!

Just discovered the #31daysOfGraves so have to share my favorite #ornament. From Montparnasse in Paris.

Look at these scofflaws just roaming the streets of Madison, walking in the middle of the road!

The wonders of physics show never disappoints (even though there some issues with the carrot guillotine).

Madison Night Market combined with the Wisconsin Science Festival was awesome! Got there early and saw so much and still didn’t see everything 3.5 hours later! Tons of people.

So cool that they have recommendations for locations near each library with details about how to get there by different modes, and accessibility info too!

Borrowed a birding backpack from my local library. Adult and child size binoculars, a bird guide and a kids bird guide too. Super excited to check out Horicon Marsh during migration season! Libraries rock!

Didn’t get to post last night but kudos to Madison Bikes for a great Bicycle Film Festival! So many great films with messages of community and joy.

Yay! Found a #miniWI tonight. This is the second I have found. The first was a 3D printed model of the state Capitol. www.channel3000.com/madison-maga...

Happy #weekWithoutDriving! View from my route to take my kid to therapy. Also happens to be near where they have gymnastics on a different day. It’s so beautiful I pick it 100% of the time over driving.

I will add, a lot of this is possible because we live in an area where there is decent transit, my kids take the bus, walk, or bike to school. According to walk score it’s not great but it works for us. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Whoa! I’ve only seen those in botanical gardens. Also, no joke, am currently reading this book. Would love to check out this place!

My kid does not have a cell phone so how do they tell me they are staying for an after school club? Send a note home with the neighbor kid of course!

A good reminder. "I am often struck by the dangerous narcissism fostered by spiritual rhetoric that pays so much attention to individual self-improvement and so little to the practice of love within the context of community."
