Love it! Here's one of mine from the weekend.

I'm completely opposite, every one of his movies I've seen has been magic. One of the greatest cinematic storytellers of our time.

This week we were discussing the fact that poppies have mostly disappeared here in the US, I hadn't seen one in at least 20 years. Well, today, going into the grocery, the VFW was distributing Buddy Poppies. Here's mine, along with a Royal Canadian Legion poppy, and an Indigenous Veteran poppy.

These photos, well, they're mine, from a cold winter's day after my Dad passed away.

I may not be Canadian, but I remember. Je me souviens.

I think that the 11th day of the 11th month should still be a day to remember them, so I do, this year on the 107th anniversary of that day in 1918.

On Memorial Day too.

And every day.

I've probably seen Pan's Labyrinth 100 times over the years and while I love the movie, I'm not sure I really *like* it yet. It's art, but it's brutal, it's myth and beautiful magic.

I've always said that the real magic in the world hides in a place between the darkness and the light.

Not going to lie though, lots of editing here, it was taken in March, and just before noon.
