Nobel laureate Katalin Karikó was honored at our institute with the Karl Friedrich Bonhoeffer Award Lecture for her work in developing mRNA for therapy. Congratulations 🥂!
With the lecture, we recognize outstanding scientists & their work. Besides a medal, the prize is endowed with 10.000 euros.

Scientists from our institute, @uni-goettingen.de, & EPFL have generated quantum light using an electron beam instead of a laser. Unlike LED or laser light, this type of quantum light is characterized by a precisely defined and constant number of light particles per light pulse. ⬇️
