Well, more seriously, your only obvious vibe is “New Yorker POC who came of age in the Silicon Alley 90s” which says a lot but only to a pretty narrow audience. I do understand why it heats up (white) online political talkers, tho, who don’t grok any of those items.

The Norwegians are weird because they (my people) were so poor for so dang long and then got oil rich. They used to eat lutefisk (cod soaked in lye) and now they can afford to have a smørkrise (“butter crisis”). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwegi...

I tried to search for it earlier and found no joy. fwiw I don’t enjoy his drumming for the most part but that’s wrapped in not liking the Stones much.

It always struck me that after the Shining he got bored. That said, he could still bring the fastball even in works like A Few Good Men. But generally he seemed to be imaging with the idea of Nicholson the Movie Star rather than the Actor. Batman and Wolf seem like the best examples of that

I just went on a fruitless search for a Neal Peart vid where he talked about how touring was hard on him because he wasn’t playing Charlie Watts grooves. It was meant lovingly, as near as I could tell

Pardon my failing memory but it was along the lines of: why does he miss every opportunity to add a fill? There were more details but that was the essence.
