I'm really proud of how much I've grown in terms of my response to trauma and triggers. Going from being sent into a spiral at the slightest reminder of a trauma to being able to ground myself and step back from the hurtful thing is some serious progress, at least to me.

Dumb and young me thought it was a “Happy-Happy” kind of thing. But so long as it’s two human beings, there’s annoyance, petty fights, misunderstanding, etc… it’s a constant cycle of understanding that there are bad days and that doesn’t mean your person isn’t right for you
