I recently saw the Guinness Book of Records tallest Bedded Christmas Tree in Cragside, Northumberland, standing at 44.7 mtrs. Cragside was the first house in the world powered by electricity. For the tree to count as a Christmas tree, it must have lights from top to bottom 🎄🦌🎄⛄️🎄🎅

Enjoyed a hike up Lugnaquilla this weekend from the Glen of Imaal, with more misty views from the summit....seems to be a common theme at the moment. Took in some great views below the summit section though....anyone want to let us know about their outdoor activities this bank holiday weekend 🥾🥾🌫🧭🗺⛰️

Took in Mullaghcleevaun over the weekend...with misty views from the summit, and met members of Scouting Ireland along the way, who were hosting an event for scouts from all over the country. For the scouts, youth is definitely not wasted on the young 🥾🥾🌫🧭🗺

Nothing like a hike up Tonelagee of a Sunday to get a misty view from the summit before taking in Stony Top and some of St. Kevins Way. It was definitely an enjoyable day out, and we only met a total of 4 people while out there....where did you go hiking this weekend 🥾🥾⛰️🌫🙂

On a recent camping trip to Galway, I took the opportunity to visit Glengowla Mines. Our guide Sean was very informative about life for the miners who worked here...and the conditions they worked in. It's definitely worth a visit next time you are out near Oughterard🕯🔦👷‍♂️
