It's the first cold day of the year here and it's been snowing. Both cats have decided to come back in when I let them out after breakfast. I think in a couple of hours I'll throw some salmon in the oven and have a party. We all deserve a treat today. It's rare for the outdoor cat to come back in.

I want a political party that will fight the dirty filthy rich who are attacking our democracy. If the Democratic Party isn't going to do that I'm done with them.

I was watching the game with the sound off and listening to podcasts and the dirty orange bastard was in the studio. That useless SOB disgusts me and I despise his voice and image. He twisted a bunch of sick bastards that he won't be able to control when they get hungry and desperate. Time will tell

You hear a lot about the federal workers in northern Virginia but WV has some too. They have the FBI fingerprint center in Clarksburg and a Coast Guard office in the eastern panhandle as well as Dept. of Ag offices and research facilities in the northern part of the state. Public Debt in Pkbrg etc.

Tens of millions of Americans are irretrievably broken. They're no longer content to live in a multicultural, inclusive society. They want to rule this country, not serve its population & they're happy to let the wealthy use their resources to destroy our civilization & punish the people they hate.

Theres an article in USA Today about melatonin that everyone should read. I've been using it mainly to chill out an unrelenting thought process. Turns out people who use it have a 90% higher chance of heart failure than non users. 3.5 times as likely to be hospitalized for heart failure. Not safe.

I noticed when I was out this morning that the nearest mega church was having it's food event. I think what they do is give a trunk load of food to their own parishioners. Their tithing feeds themselves. I slipped some cash to the store manager to help people who go over at the register.

I've been wondering how I was going to get a picture of my buddy Opossum Paul since he only comes around at night and there he is out on a limb for some reason. I saw him earlier in the cat bed on the porch but it was too dark and he ran away.

Everything being connected to everything else electronically is making life much harder instead of easier. Trying to buy something online and they forced me to sign in and then they forced me to enter my number to get a code and immediately said that number is already in use. It's my damn number.

It's impossible to watch a sporting event on TV unless you give billionaires hundreds of dollars a year. The best thing to happen now would be for a huge sunburst to burn out all their satellites so at least they couldn't surveil everyone, make living here extremely expensive. Let's just start over.

Reading an article on West Virginia Watch that has some devastating figures on the impact the loss of SNAP will have on WV. More than 6K children in state custody. 275K WV'ians including 86K children depend on SNAP. 45 million a month for the state. You can blame the adults but not the children.

I hope someone is thinking & working on a solution to get that dirty orange rat bastard out of the bunker he's building when he loses his cult following. I think it's obvious that if that bunker is a self contained unit he is going to try to hang onto power there & the Republican Party will let him

If you zoom in you can catch Lucky the Tux on the job. He sits down there almost every day often for hours. I've walked around trying to figure out what he's so enthralled with but so far I have no idea. He's a hardcore mouser so he might have found the motherload down there.

I'm an old white guy but I'm nothing like those assholes who are determined to destroy the government. I genuinely love & appreciate women. I'm not threatened by other races or religions. I want everyone to have a decent life & I want to use the government to ease the suffering of other people.

Call me crazy but I refuse to take the word of a pathological liar, con man & grifter & I don't care if the Extreme Court says he can do any damn thing he wants to American citizens. As long as every single asshole who voted for this shit suffers as much as possible before they die, we can prevail.

Turns out the Republican Party does have a plan to deal with income inequality. Workers will be owned by their employers & jettisoned when they become expendable. Private prisons will then take them in and the poor and the elderly will be allowed to starve on the streets. More money for the wealthy.
