I hate to disagree with this, because to this day it still is one of my all time favourite video game franchises, but the haters aren't the reason the layoffs happened, nor why we'll never get another DA game.
The blame is 100% on the leadership part of the project and on EA

Last Friday was wild tho, I got some crazy shivers and couldn't shake the cold feeling, even when I was sweating my ass off 🤣 Then the next morning? Back to just a cough and a sore throat.
