continuation of the previous comic. a wide shot panel showcasing the room after both thancred and the wol have stepped inside. on the far left there is a heating unit/fireplace. across from it sits a not-very-comfortable looking couch. across from that, on the far right (the wall directly opposite where the heating unit is affixed) there is a small kitchenette. on the far wall (furthest from the viewer, adjacent to the wall where the heating unit is affixed) lies the front door and a window. underneath the window is a small table with two chairs. a magitek arm sits atop the table. thancred stands in front of the door, appearing to be closing it behind him. wol has already walked further in, an arm on the back of the couch as if to support themself. WoL: The place is yours. as thancred takes off the hat making up his imperial diguise he takes note of a cane broken in half propped on the wall just near the door. THANCRED: What the hells happened to your cane? WoL: Slipped. THANCRED: And it snapped? WoL: Happens. THANCRED: You're limping. WoL: I made a mistake with the tuning. That's all. panel with the same wide shot view of the room, but now with thancred and wol in different positions. thancred sits on the couch, looking behind him at the kitchnette where wol is standing, looking through a cupboard. he's shed the imperial coat and it hangs over the back of the couch. the hat is propped on one of the table chairs. there is a small panel of thancred looking toward the magitek arm on the table. the next panel shows him looking back surprised at wol's (aetherial) hand as they hand him a steaming cup. a third panel is a closeup of their hands as he takes it. THANCRED: Just like old times? panel with the same wide shot view of the room, but now with thancred and wol in different positions again. now wol is sitting on one of the chairs to work on the magitek arm. thancred stands nearby, one hand resting on the table. THANCRED: Need help? WoL: No. ... Thank you. a close up panel of wols hands as they work on the arm THANCRED: Another mistake with the tuning? a panel showing wol looking up at him, flustered. WoL: You have no manners, you know that? a panel of thancred looking away from them, smiling. mean. the same wide shot view of the room, but now empty. thancred's cup sits on the kitchnette counter. there is a small closeup panel of wol's hand as they lift up one of the window panels to check the weather outside. the glass is frosted over. WoL: ... It's worsening.
